| John K. Brown Chairman of the Board Mr. Brown became a Director and Chaiman of the Board of GWR in 2011. After studying pre-veterinary medicine in California, he spent most of his working career in agricultural enterprises in B.C, and Alberta. Throughout the 1990's he served as a board member with Calgary-based Sports Active Television, as well as acting as a marketing executive for Halifax based Medmira lnc. There, he worked with the highest level of government, traveling extensively throughout Africa in an effort to provide rapid-diagnostic HIV kits to those in need. Currently Mr. Brown operates a successful food distribution business (St. Albert Ranches Limited), is an equity partner with a California based bond brokerage firm (Peritus Equity Management LLC), and is Executive Board Chairman and acting CEO of a Calgary based ETL and software development company (Teilhard Technologies). | |
| John van Driesum President and Chief Executive Officer Mr. van Driesum was appointed as Director, President and CEO in 2011. He holds degrees from the University of British Columbia and University of Victoria. His corporate experience includes directorships, corporate counsel work, and executive management for both public and private companies. Recently, he was instrumental in the sale of businesses for $275M and $375M and is presently involved in development and sale of major resource opportunities. In addition to experience in corporate finance, mining development and litigation, Mr. van Driesum has broad experience in all aspects of corporate governance and regulatory compliance, land use issues, corporate acquisition and divestiture, utilities development, construction and First Nations' participation in resource development. Mr. van Driesum has lived in British Columbia for the majority of his life, aside from periods working in Israel, England and Australia and is delighted to participate in developing GWR Resources Inc. for the benefit of the people of the Cariboo Chilcotin, the people of Sainte Sabine and many surrounding communities in Quebec and all shareholders and employees of GWR Resources Inc. | |
| Rob Shives, P.Geo. Vice President of Exploration and Director Mr. Shives has been a director of GWR since 2009. He is a geologist with over 30 years post-graduate experience (Carleton, 1979) in private exploration and public sectors, in a variety of gold (vein, porphyry and epithermal) and uranium environments. He has made discoveries which led to producing gold deposits. As Head of the Radiation Geophysics Section, Geological Survey of Canada (1998 to 2007), he managed Section activities to ensure ongoing collection of high quality airborne and ground data, interpretation and field studies in and outside Canada, to develop case histories in established and new geological settings. Mr. Shives has presented successful applications as numerous formal published papers, short courses, talks and posters, in BC, Canada and worldwide. He left GSC in 2007 to contribute to exploration at Lac La Hache as an advisor. In 2009, he accepted GWR positions as Director and VP Exploration, eager to demonstrate potential for a large porphyry Cu-Au and related skarns system at Lac La Hache. | |
| Lars Glimhagen Chief Financial Officer Mr. Glimhagen has been GWR's accountant since 1997 and was appointed Chief Financial Officer in 2010. He has over 35 years of experience in accounting and finance, including being the Senior Accountant at BC Rapid Transit, the former operating company of the SkyTrain Rapid Transit system in the Lower Mainland. He is also the founder of LNG Management Services Ltd., a certified consulting and software provider for Adagio Accounting software, developed by Softrak Systems Inc. | |
| Dale Reimer Director Mr. Reimer has been a Director of GWR Resources since 2004. He has 23 years experience in the mining industry, the last 20 of which have been with companies owned by Imperial Metals (III -- TSX). Mr. Reimer is currently the Administration Manager at Imperial Metal's Mount Polley Mine. |
