GWR Resources Inc. is a Canadian junior exploration company focused on exploration for gold and other valuable mineral deposits in Canada. The Company was incorporated in British Columbia and trades on the TSX Venture Exchange (Symbol: GWQ). GWR's experienced management and technical teams are committed to establishing the existence of mineable gold, copper, magnetite and possibly other metals within highly prospective areas having excellent infrastructure, located near townsites with a skilled workforce, rail, road and power capacity.
Our Lac La Hache porphyry copper-gold-silver/skarn copper-magnetite-gold-silver property is located within the Quesnel Trough in British Columbia, the largest porphyry trend in Canada. The property is situated between producing mines at Imperial Metals' Mt. Polley Copper-Gold Mine, New Gold Inc.'s New Afton Copper-Gold project (Teck-Cominco's legendary Afton mine) and adjoins Consolidated Woodjam/Gold Fields' project. GWR has outlined a 43-101 compliant mineral resource (Spout Zones) and numerous drilled prospects. In 2012, GWR expanded the project to nearly 40,000 hectares to include prospective, unexplored ground, where several promising new geochemical anomalies have recently been defined. Exploration is ongoing to expand the existing resource at Lac La Hache.
GWR maintains a quality assurance/quality control program that conforms to the requirements of National Instrument 43-101. Rob Shives, P. Geo., GWR Director and V.P Exploration, is the Qualified Person (as defined by NI43-101) who has reviewed and approved the technical content of this website.
