GWR Resources Inc. is a Canadian junior exploration company focused on exploration for copper and gold deposits within the Quesnel Trough in British Columbia, the largest copper-gold porphyry trend in Canada, and gold-base-metal within the Bellechasse region in Southern Quebec. The Company was incorporated in British Columbia and trades on the TSX Venture Exchange (Symbol: GWQ).
GWR has accumulated many mineral claims situated approximately 25 kilometres northeast of Lac La Hache B.C. This property (the "Lac La Hache Property") was significantly expanded in 2012 and now covers more than 36,000 hectares,hosting numerous drilled prospects. GWR's experienced management and technical teams are committed to proving potential for mineable copper-gold within this large 100% owned property (subject to various royalties). The Lac La Hache Property is situated between producing mines at Imperial Metals' Mt. Polley Copper-Gold Mine and New Gold Inc.'s New Afton Copper-Gold project (Teck-Cominco's legendary Afton mine), and is well-served by rail, road and power infrastructure.
Drilling at Lac La Hache is ongoing for the purposes of expanding existing mineralized zones and discovering new zones. Excellent copper prices along with extraordinary gold prices are contributing to GWR's commitment to prove mineable copper-gold within this large property.
