Our Company

GWR Resources Inc. was incorporated on February 13, 1987 under the Company Act of British Columbia. On June 28, 1988 the Company was listed on the TSX Venture Exchange (Symbol: GWQ).

In 1988, commenced its acquisition of property claims in the Lac La Hache area of British Columbia. This group of contiguous claims is situated within the Quesnel Trough, an assemblage of volcanic sedimentary and intrusive rocks of Upper Jurrasic age, which extends from Washington State to north central British Columbia. The Quesnel Trough hosts multiple skarn and porphyry copper and copper gold deposits.

In 2005, in partnership with the Geological Survey of Canada, GWR completed an airborne geophysical survey over its 100% owned, Lac La Hache Property.

The results of the airborne geographical survey are exciting, indicating potential for a major hydrothermal alteration system, typical of producing porphyry Cu-Au deposits in similar areas at nearby Afton and Mount Polley mines.

Two decades of exploration of the Lac La Hache Property have produced numerous significant showings - these provide clear evidence that the airborne anomalies are real.

Exciting new discoveries are now being made.
